We’ve all grown up idolising our mothers for being the creative and the driving force of the family, managing tasks effortlessly;

These women we know as mothers are like magicians who can create miracles out of nothing. Whether it is cooking food from scratch or perhaps clothes from scrap.

It is our privilege to be acquainted with women who are mothers and daughters, who instil warm inspirations in our purpose. Frontier Raas had the privilege to chat with a mother- daughter duo, who
expressed their shared love and passions for heirlooms and Indian textiles and the traditions of passing
down history and culture token-ed in love.

Which reminds us of days when, cardigans were meticulously knit by hand with a myriad of calculations and handkerchiefs were decorated with dainty daisy stitches? This was love we carried that reminded of the angels who brought us to a place we call home.

Our mothers defined our quality of life, even when there was limited accessibility to fashion, she’d go out of her way to use her Banarasi saree and up cycle it into a lehenga to wear to a family function.
